There is nothing worse than hurrying around because your ride fell through. I guess Jimmy Kimmel hasn’t gotten that memo yet. On his way to host the 68th Emmy Awards, Jimmy managed to jump from car to car because his rides just didn’t work out.
The late night TV host first got a ride from Malcolm Jamal Warner in an OJ Simpson-style white Bronco, but then he wound up getting picked up by the cast of Modern Family.
When their car went up in flames because of a magic trick gone wrong, another late night host came to save the day. James Corden pulled up in his classic “Carpool Karaoke” style.
Except, Jimmy Kimmel wasn’t really feeling it. He apparently “doesn’t sing”, but that doesn’t last long. How can you not sing along to Wham! It’s impossible.
It wouldn’t be a traditional Emmys opening sketch if Jimmy Kimmel didn’t pack it full of stars! After a fight with James, Jimmy gets kicked out of the car and winds up with Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s Veep character.
But the real kicker of the night is Jimmy riding in style to the awards show on the back of a dragon with Daenerys Targaryen! Which celebrity cameo did you like the best?
